These rules set out where StarProxy proxies may and may not be used. They are part of the Terms of Service and apply equally to every account and plan.
1. Allowed uses
StarProxy proxies are meant for lawful business and personal work. Examples:
- Collecting public web data.
- Checking how ads appear in each country.
- Tracking product prices and stock.
- SEO audits and local search result checks.
- Testing websites and apps from different regions.
2. Banned uses
StarProxy may not be used for any of the following.
- Accessing login pages of banks or financial institutions.
- Accessing government websites.
- Any illegal activity.
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messages.
- Credential stuffing or any other attempt to get into accounts that belong to someone else.
- DDoS attacks or other traffic meant to knock a service offline.
- Anything that breaks the laws that apply to the site you access.
3. Respect for the sites you visit
Follow the laws that apply to you and to each site. Collect public data only, and keep request rates low enough not to strain the site.
4. Managing your account and credentials
Your proxy username, proxy password and Allowed IPs are yours to manage. You are responsible for all traffic sent with your credentials, including traffic from anyone you share them with.
5. Monitoring and enforcement
StarProxy may block access to certain sites at the gateway and reviews the abuse reports it receives. Accounts that misuse the service are suspended.
6. Balance on suspended accounts
If an account is suspended for breaking this policy, all its plans stop and any remaining balance is not refunded.
7. Policy changes
StarProxy may update this policy. The date at the top shows the version in force.
