Web scraping proxies
A scraper sends many requests to one site in a short window. The StarProxy unlimited plan spreads them across many home connection IPs and charges a daily rate, however much data comes back.
Why do scrapers get blocked?
Sites watch how many requests come from each IP. Past a set threshold they slow responses or show a challenge page. A few thousand requests from one server hit that limit within minutes.
Through the gateway (the proxy entry point), requests split across thousands of residential IPs, the addresses of home internet lines. Total volume is unchanged, but each IP sends about what a normal visitor would.
What sets the price?
The period and the connection tier. At 200 connections and 100 Mbps, Day is $4.55, Week $4.28 a day ($29.96 total), Month $3.87 a day ($116.10 total) and Season $3.46 a day ($311.40 total).
Data is not counted. Once a job pulls more than roughly 11~14 GB a day, unlimited costs less than buying residential by the GB. Image heavy pages cross that line fast.
Which connection tier do I need?
Go by how many requests are open at the same moment. With 120 workers, the 200 connection tier is enough and leaves headroom for retries.
If several scrapers run at once, add their workers together. At 300, the 500 connection tier (200 Mbps) fits. It is $7.44 on Day, or $6.32 a day on Month. You can switch tiers on your next purchase.
What can I collect?
Public pages that open without a login: product listings, articles, published business details. Check the site's terms and the law where you operate before you start.
Accounts used for logins with leaked credentials, spam, DDoS or access to government sites are suspended. Pacing requests per domain keeps the target server up and lets you keep collecting from it.
Setting up StarProxy for Web scraping

Sign up with a username and password, then add balance in crypto in the payment window. The minimum top-up is $25.

Under unlimited residential, choose a period (Day, Week, Month or Season) and a connection tier, then pay.

Add -zone-unl to your proxy username. If the data differs by country, add a country code too, such as -cc-de.

Point the scraper's proxy setting at gate.starproxy.shop. HTTP uses port 6100 and SOCKS5 uses port 6200.
Common questions
How often does the IP change?
Without a -sid option in the username, every single request leaves from a new residential IP.
I need the same IP for a few pages after logging in.
Add -sid- and a session name of your choice to the username. Requests with the same name share one IP. Set how long it holds with -ttl-, up to 60 minutes.
Is anything capped besides data?
Concurrent connections and speed go up to the tier you chose. Data is not measured.
My order says Activating.
