The problem with checking from the office
Ad networks pick the ad by the viewer's location and connection type. The office view is no guarantee of what a customer in Chicago or Busan sees.
Some fraudulent placements serve the clean version only to corporate and datacenter ranges. Opening the page from a home connection IP is what exposes the difference.
Choosing the city
Add -city- and the city name to the username, in lowercase, with underscores for spaces. London is -cc-gb-city-london and Los Angeles is -cc-us-city-los_angeles.
Pick a few cities inside the campaign region and run the same check in each. A screenshot and the final URL per city become the evidence in your report.
What to record on each check
Record the page URL that carried the ad, the creative actually shown, each redirect after the click and the final landing page. A redirect is an automatic hop to another address. Then hold that record against the placement and link in the order.
Finish each check inside one -sid session, so everything from ad load to landing uses one IP. If the IP changes midway, a working redirect chain can look broken.
How much data does it use?
A few MB per check. Small, irregular use like this costs less per GB than on a daily plan.
